Complete previously started courses

We are delighted that you have found your way back to MDU! Here is some useful information about how you can complete your courses and education after you have taken a break from us for a while.

Your student account

Your student account, which consists of a user-id, a password and student email, will be automatically closed four semesters after you last logged in. If your account has been closed, and you want to take a new course, you need to register again.

Complete a course

You can complete a course as long as the course code you are registered on is still active. If you have a normal registration then you can do a resit of the course as many times as you need. You do not have to register again before you resit the exam.

You can apply for the exam through Ladok. If your student account, which you use to log into Ladok is no longer active, you can contact the Student Centre to get help with registering for the exam: studenttorget@mdu.se

For other examination components, for example, written assignments, and reporting of laboratory sessions or projects, you must contact a study counsellor or the Student Centre.

If a decision has been made to discontinue courses, the University will offer three sessions to take completion examinations. Times for the final examinations can be found on the online schedule.

Here you can find information about the courses that have been discontinued at MDU.
